Description
This design showcases the lightness and natural shape of the bamboo. A whole bamboo pole is first split in half and the outer wax layer is sanded. On each side of the split bamboo a one-inch hole is drilled and an acrylic rod with one LED is inserted. The hanging poles are first sanded and then patterned with cuts using a Japanese hand saw.
